DTBIA-primaryThe Downtown Hamilton BIA represents over 480 businesses and 170 property owners within an area surrounding Gore Park in the heart of Hamilton. Its members are dedicated to providing advocacy, beautification, promotion and preservation of Downtown Hamilton through successful public and private partnerships. It organizes many events and promotions to attract people to enjoy the downtown including the annual Downtown Localicious Experience, Gore Park Summer Promenade and Christmas Holidays in Gore Park.

It produces The Downtowner Magazine annually, which is circulated to over 35,000 residents and businesses in the Downtown area and features stories about life in Downtown, a full scale map of downtown location points of interest, and parking areas as well as upcoming events happening in the core.  It also produces the Tourism Hamilton Award Winning Brochure, The Downtown Restaurant Guide which is a complete guide on the 1001 tastes that will please any palette.

The BIA welcomes over 24,000 employees who work in the core Monday to Friday as well as thousands of conventioneers, special event patrons, theatre goers and special guests of our fine restaurants, cafes and eateries.
