Mentoring Programs

Launch Local

Phase Two is a training and mentoring program which consists of business development training and monthly mentoring sessions with local business leaders; plus, top applicants will be offered the opportunity to pitch for a Small Business Prize Pack!

Eligibility requirements include:

  • Business has one owner (sole proprietor)
  • 30-64 years of age
  • Starting a full-time business
  • Ontario resident
  • Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident

Individuals interested in the program are encouraged to come to a FREE orientation session to learn more about the program and clarify eligibility requirements.

There will be two orientation sessions:

Access to Professionals

Are you looking for business legal, accounting or marketing advice? Well, with the Access to Professionals series you can meet with a Lawyer, Accountant or a Marketing Professional for a 45 minute one on one meeting for $28.25 (including HST).

To participate in the Access to Professional program please complete and submit the attached application at least one week prior to the proposed meeting time.  Business advisors will review the application to ensure the professional team can address your need and call to confirm your booking.

Access to Accountant
October 12  1:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
November 9  1:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Access to Marketing
October 12  9:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
November 9  9:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Access to Lawyer
October 12 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
November 9 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Please note that a $28.25 (including HST) non-refundable deposit (payable by Visa, M/C, debit or cash) is due at the time of booking.
