The City of Hamilton’s Small Business Enterprise Centre is hosting the following business development training courses for anyone interested in learning about business.
10 Steps to Starting a Business
This workshop provides a general overview of items you will need to consider when starting a business. Including: market research, business structure, registrations, regulations licenses, taxes financing options and insurance.

Workshop Fee: $30 plus HST. Fee includes: 10 Steps to Starting a Business CD, all related handout materials and light lunch (please specify any dietary restrictions at the time of registration)
Business Planning and Marketing Strategies
This Workshop provides guidance on writing a business plan and develop marketing strategies.

Bookkeeping Basics
In this workshop you will learn good reasons for keeping good business records and the fundamentals of a bookkeeping system.
